New Malden at a glance
New Malden grew up around its railway station in the Victorian era and is now one of the busiest towns in the borough. Its long High Street is known for having one of the largest Korean communities in Europe, with Korean restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets alongside everyday shops. The A3 runs along its southern edge, with Shannon Corner giving direct access north and south.
International travel from KT3
With so many residents and visitors travelling to and from Korea and elsewhere in Asia, long-haul flights make up a big share of our New Malden bookings. Long-haul travel usually means more luggage, so here's what we suggest:
- Choose an estate or MPV if you have more than two large suitcases.
- Book your return with the flight number, so pickup is timed to your actual landing rather than the scheduled time.
- Allow extra time for weekday morning traffic on the A3 towards the M25.

Around town
New Malden station has South Western Railway trains to Waterloo, and we collect from it at all hours. We also run regular trips to Kingston for shopping and hospital appointments, and to Surbiton and Tolworth.
