Right on the main road
Hook is a small, mostly residential area between Tolworth, Surbiton and Chessington. Its defining feature is the Hook junction, where the A3 crosses the A243 Hook Road. For a taxi company, that's a big advantage: from Hook, the A3 takes you north towards central London or south towards the M25 without any detours through side streets.
No station of its own
Hook doesn't have a railway station. The nearest are Surbiton, Tolworth and Chessington North, all within a couple of miles but not quite close enough to walk comfortably with luggage or in bad weather. Short station runs are one of our most common bookings here. Tell us your train time and we'll make sure you're on the platform with a few minutes to spare.
Local trips around Hook
We drive Hook residents to the shops along Hook Parade and Hook Road, to St Paul's Church, to GP and dental appointments, and further afield to Kingston and Tolworth Broadway. For a regular trip, such as a weekly shop or a standing appointment, ask us about repeat bookings.
A good starting point for long journeys
Because of the A3, Hook is one of the easiest places in our area to start a long trip from:
- Heathrow usually takes 35 to 50 minutes.
- Central London and the main stations are reached via the A3, typically in 40 to 60 minutes.
- Gatwick is usually reached in under an hour via the M25.
