The neighbourhood between the stations
Berrylands sits between Tolworth, Surbiton and the Hogsmill River, a largely residential area of family homes built around its own small station. It's peaceful, but it has no main shopping street of its own, and buses don't reach every road. So much of what we do here is filling in the gaps: getting people to the shops, the doctor, school or the station without having to plan around a timetable.
Everyday journeys we make from Berrylands
- Shopping trips to Tolworth, Surbiton or Kingston, with room in the boot for the bags on the way back.
- Kingston Hospital appointments, where it's often easier to be dropped at the entrance than to find parking.
- School journeys, set up as regular bookings on the days you need them.
- Station runs to Surbiton when you need the fast trains, or to Berrylands station itself when it's raining.
When the train isn't the answer
Berrylands station sits on the South Western Railway line to London Waterloo, but its services are mostly stopping trains. If you're heading somewhere across London rather than into Waterloo, or travelling with luggage, a car can save you a couple of changes. We run door-to-door trips to all the main London terminals.
Appointments with a wait
For hospital visits or a string of errands, a single fare each way isn't always the best option. Our hourly hire with a driver means the car waits for you, which many older residents in Berrylands find more reassuring than booking a fresh car to come home.
Holidays and flights
From Berrylands, Heathrow is usually 35 to 50 minutes by car. Because we're so close, early-morning airport pickups are straightforward to arrange. Book the night before or earlier for flights before 7am, and add your flight number so we can meet you in arrivals when you return.
